The Westerly was originally built specifically for diving. It has a compressor that fills to 2500 PSI. Their large dive ramp is convienient for easy boat access. The Westerly is licensed from Point Conception to the Mexican boarder and all points in between.
It is 55 feet long and has a 17 ft. beam. The Westerly is powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines and is equipped with all the necessary electronic devices. It has 24 cozy bunks and a small galley. They offer some food, but you are welcome to bring a small ice chest for your lunch. Also it is recommended that you bring two tanks.
Jim has been
an avid diver for many years. He is as familiar with the channel islands dive
spots as you are with your way home from work. He is considered one of the
best dive skippers in the fleet and works with the different groups to give
them the best day of diving possible.
The Westerly has
been a family operated business for 25 years. Our crew, headed by Jim Ingram
and his son Tyler Ingram, will give you 110% effort. Jim has years of
experience having been a captain all his life and Tyler has been his first mate
since about age four. The Westerly is perfect for small group charters
targeting 15 to 20 people.
